If you like me have been researching a bit regarding the best way to optimize domains with pagerank, you will undoubtedly also have found some advices and webpages that are so obvious mistaken or outdated, that it almost hurts to read it and you really just want to try and get the page shut down. Some of the more funny advice I have seen include amongst others: Link to Google themselves: they also need the links and will give you credit for it! Enter a series of dots on the bottom of each page (like this ………………… ) and link these to Google! I hope I don’t have to tell you, not to waste your time doing any of this – It will not work.
